A Twist on the Classic Monty Hall Problem

The ALLSTAT email list allows statisticians to discuss statistical issues with each other.  In this instance I wanted to get opinions from other statisticians on a question related to the Monty Hall problem.  This problem is based on a real-life game show and remains a classic example of how normal human intuition fails in situations that call for statistical thinking.
